1. Who may exercise the right
This information is for individuals acting as consumers. It generally does not apply to purchases made for commercial or professional purposes.
2. Period
Where applicable, the period is 14 days from the day the consumer or a nominated third party other than the carrier takes physical possession. For separate deliveries, it runs from receipt of the last item, lot or piece.
3. How to notify us
Before the period expires, send an unambiguous statement to azeitemanoslince@sapo.pt, including your name, address, order reference, the goods concerned and the decision to withdraw. You may use the form below, but it is not mandatory.
4. Effects and refund
Following valid withdrawal, payments received are refunded, including the standard delivery charge where legally due. Extra cost caused by the consumer choosing a more expensive delivery method need not be refunded.
The same payment method is used unless expressly agreed otherwise, without extra fees. The refund may be withheld until the goods or evidence of dispatch are received where law permits.
5. Returning goods
Goods must be returned without undue delay and within the statutory period to To be confirmed before publication. Unless the seller has offered to bear the cost or law provides otherwise, the consumer pays the direct return cost.
The consumer is liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish nature, characteristics and functioning. Avoid opening a seal where a health or hygiene exception may lawfully apply.
6. Exceptions
The right may be excluded in statutory cases, including personalised goods, goods liable to deteriorate rapidly and sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons after unsealing. A product being food does not automatically remove the right; the exception must apply to the particular product.
